Guest Posted May 29, 2002 Share Posted May 29, 2002 I assume you have the dashboard out of the vehicle? After removing the glove box from the rear of the dash you will find on the bottom of the support flange a tiny slot above the holes through which the hinge rod passes. You will need to bend the tab just below the rod hole on the end opposite where the rod has a "L" bend. Then, viola, you will be able to remove the door with the spot- welded rod still attached.
