Guest LJess Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) Hello everyone, hope you're having a great day! Can anyone tell me what motorcyle does this replica represent? The year and brand? Someone told me it was a harley davidson but i cant find this model anywhere. If someone could help me i would really appreciate it. Thank you so much. tripwire Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Well, as you said, it's a "replica." Someone put this together to resemble a Harley-Davidson FL or FLH, sort of. The engine is made to look like a Panhead, and the saddlebags resemble those of the same era as the engine. Some of the details are fairly accurate but some are not. It appears to have a hardtail frame but there are what looks like shock absorbers attached where they would be if it had rear suspension. The tail lights are wrong and too many. The spot lights are mounted in the wrong place. I could go on but I'm not going to. Best guess year & model the artist was going for: 1949 - 1957 HydraGlide.
tripwire Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) Or, if they wanted it with shocks in the back that makes it a Duo-Glide. 1959 - 1964 Edited July 7, 2017 by tripwire add more info. (see edit history)

Pomeroy41144 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 No chain or belt connecting the transmission and primary to the rear wheel. And yes, shocks on a hard tail frame (no swing arm). Still not too too bad for a scratchbuilt model.
