NTX5467 Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Every so often, I venture over to Mac's Motor City Garage website macsmotorcitygarage.com . The videos of the recent Eyes on Design show in Michigan are in there, too, including the LeSabre show car (plus an earlier factory video about 20 pages prior!). There is one video on 1959 GM Styling, specifically on the 1959 Chevrolet, but related to other GM brands, too. Reading the comments after the printed article are interesting, too, as one poster identified some of the people in the video. "The American Look" was a styling theme. There are many shots of the acclaimed Warren Tech Center, too, and how it related to the jobs which the designers did. Obviously, many of these same processes are still in place, only modernized for our more digital age. A great way to learn of automotive heritage and the "landscape" of the industry which existed in the times when many of our beloved vehicles were designed. Many videos of sales training of dealership salespeople, too! It was a different time, back then. Much excitement over new "advanced" models every fall! Many things which we might not ever have heard of, too! Enjoy! NTX5467. 2
