keiser31
This is the style you need, but don't buy this one. It is a Chrysler cap and NOT a Ford cap. It cannot be used or restored.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-1926-FORD-MODEL-A-WINGED-RADIATOR-CAP-SOLD-AS-IS-ONE-BROKEN-WING-/322250706271?hash=item4b07a38d5f:g:VtYAAOSwFdtXyWd~
TheMoneyPit
This might be a little clearer, it is a photo of the cap and information from "Motoring Mascots of the World" by Bill Williams. As Keizer mentioned, they suffer from being made of early pot metal which seems to self destruct with age.
TheMoneyPit
Sorry, the one that you are looking for is brass
28 Chrysler
It appears that your cap needs to be 1 7/8" ( the more common ones are 2" ). E Bay may have one listed.but look for the brass version. I have seen only one on E Bay listed for a kings ransom, it did not sell and never relisted.
Tim Wolfe
Do a search for American Arrow, he may reproduce them. I had one and gave it to a man in Calif. who was doing his first restoration. It was given to me so I passed it on for the same price. I was glad to help a fellow member out.

Yes, but the detail definition leaves something to be desired. Notice the difference in the American Austin deluxe radiator cap The one on the left is NOS unplated.
