Sheet Metal Valance

Can anyone tell me what this sheet metal section fits? It looks like a valance that fits under the radiator? Thanks.....

I certainly do not know, and I really like watching the members here, posting guesses or whatever, that usually add up to a ID.

 

I believe It is automotive, due to visuals.. by my own experiences, as well as knowing that even the type of "speed nut?" things, will help the members date it better? ..as well as I believe it is auto and not truck.

The way the scratches run I think your part may have hung down ,nut side up braced at the slotted holes.

Possibly a "splash panel" from below the radiator or bumper in a post war car? The longitudinal bend looks like a car front end shape.
