rageracing
Reassembled both sides in the PE with new king pins and bushing but put can't seem to get the dust caps to stay in place. When I try and grease them it pushes them out. The kit came with 59/64 caps. Did anyone ever use freeze out plugs instead to get a better fit? Taylormade
I used casting or freeze plugs on my 32 Dodge Brothers and it worked fine.
Guest
When I redid the front end on my '38 last year I used a small chisel to put 3 stake marks around the top (and bottom) of the bore to keep the caps in place. They had previous stake marks when I took them apart. I think if you just tap them in place the pressure of a grease gun will blow them out.
