What Is It? It turned to be a 1923 Buick, probably a Model 45

This is my grandfather holding my mother, who was born in 1926.  The photo is somewhere in the Sevier County area of what would eventually become the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  To help make ends meet, he drove a taxi - this is the only photo we have of that taxi.  The ones left who would know seem to think it was a Buick.

 

If the photo is dated 1926 or later, it would stand to reason that this car was at least a few years old at the time the photo was shot.  I'd appreciate the experts on here seeing if they can narrow down for sure the exact brand and a possible range of years.

One thing missing on John's pic is the second headlight rim,or, the one on the back of the headlight although some 23 Buicks have them.

This red and black car is a 1923-55 model with original "sunshade" , the car in quest are probebly a 1923-45 model.
