Tom Deering
The lack of response to your question leads me to believe I'm not the only one baffled by the posted numbers. You didn't indicate whether the car had the proper Y-Block engine in it or some later transplant. A Y-Block may be readily identified by the distributor mounted near the firewall and the oil filter mounted horizontally to the drivers side of the engine towards the rear. Immediately above the oil filter, there is a raised set of numbers cast on the block. ECG 6015 - B is an example of the alpha-numeric format you need to find. The number is most readable from under the car. Assuming the engine is a Y-Block, you can find a lot of pertinent info at this site: www.ford-y-block.com
While your'e under the car, you might find some raised cast characters on the head between the third and fourth spark plug. Look for something like ECG-A. If you could post the numbers you find cast on the block and heads, along with the patent plate data, we should be able to identify what you have and determine if it is proper for that vehicle.
Tom
