lancemb Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) I didn't think so but am told otherwise...can anyone confirm? Edited June 6, 2017 by lancemb (see edit history)
Beemon Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I don't think so, but the Specials came from the factory with smaller tires per the shop manual. It was upgrade to put the bigger tires the other models had on the Special.
JohnD1956 Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 The 1956 manual does not indicate any 14" rims for Buicks.
Barney Eaton Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Using the "standard catalog of Buick" as reference, all Buicks had 15" wheel until 1961 when the new small Special/Skylark arrived with 13" wheels. Note the above statement is from 1955 where I started looking at the wheel sizes up to 1961 where I stopped. The only wheel option noted in this reference book was the wire wheels. The series 40 came with 7.10 x 15 series 50 & 60 came with 7.60 x 15 and series 70 used 8.00 x 15 1
