whitewatersky Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 (edited) Just putting this out there in its own thread. In case anyone isn't aware, I'm keen to add a 1965 Gran Sport to the garage if anyone knows of a rust free genuine vehicle for sale. Preferably a member's car. Rivdrivn Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Well, what in particular are you looking for? I just finished one and started another. There was a yellow one on eBay recently, and before that, a black one. I know of a white one in good driver condition for $25 K
whitewatersky Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Still looking if anyone knows of a car. Preferably Astro Blue, but not essential colour Thanks Edited July 20, 2017 by whitewatersky (see edit history)

whitewatersky Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) Going to be in SF and LA in a coupla months, so would love to see a car and buy, drive then ship home... Or if it can be sorted before I get there, have the car sent to LA in time for arrival... Where are you based, Chimera? Edited July 25, 2017 by whitewatersky (see edit history)
Chimera Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Im in Northern California, yet the 65 I posted was just one on hemmings.com
whitewatersky Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 yeah - i noticed that one. it's been for sale for a while I seem to remember... unless I'm mistaking it for another. just thought you might be in the SF area...
Chimera Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I have family in the SF Bay Area and visit often, but live on the Mendocino Coast (North of SF). I don't have a 65 currently (66,67,68,71).
The baddest riviera Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 I have a 64 riviera super wildcat. Engine completely rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. Cleaned every nut and bolt on it. all new pumps, all new hoses. bigger cam, lowered. With flowmasters. perfect red leather interior not 1 rip, not 1 dent on the car. It is immaculate. Make an offer before it's sold October 19th at the Barrett Jackson

Good luck at the auction. 2 1

Good luck at the auction. The Super Wildcat was available in '64 - KX motor code. The only thing that couldn't be stock but might have been replaced at some time is the leather interior. '63 was the last year for leather for a long time. Two vinyls were available in '64. The standard editions and the custom edition.

Wasn't aware that the 64 Super Wildcat was an upgrade to the 65 GS, either. 1
