Just putting this out there in its own thread.

In case anyone isn't aware, I'm keen to add a  1965  Gran Sport to the garage  if anyone knows of a rust free genuine vehicle for sale.

Preferably a member's car.

Well, what in particular are you looking for? I just finished one and started another. There was a yellow one on eBay recently, and before that, a black one. I know of a white one in good driver condition for $25 K

Going to be in SF and LA in a coupla months, so would love to see a car  and buy, drive then ship home...

Or if it can be sorted before I get there, have the car sent to LA in time for arrival...

Where are you based, Chimera?

I have a 64 riviera super wildcat. Engine completely rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. Cleaned every nut and bolt on it. all new pumps, all new hoses. bigger cam, lowered. With flowmasters. perfect red leather interior not 1 rip, not 1 dent on the car. It is immaculate.  Make an offer before it's sold October 19th at the Barrett Jackson

Aside from not being a 65, not being a Gran Sport, and not being genuine, it's just what he's looking for. ;)

Good luck at the auction.

The super wildcat is the upgrade from the gran sport fyi. And I have a build sheet to prove it is the real deal thanks for your opinion tho.

The Super Wildcat was available in '64 - KX motor code.  The only thing that couldn't be stock but might have been replaced at some time is the leather interior.  '63 was the last year for leather for a long time.  Two vinyls were available in '64.  The standard editions and the custom edition.

That and the Flowmasters, the bigger cam, and the lowered suspension. :D

Wasn't aware that the 64 Super Wildcat was an upgrade to the 65 GS, either. :P
