Unusual buick/olds intake?

Just ran across this intake with a carb. The carb throttle plate linkage appears to match the manifold linkage which comes through the side of the casted 'bowl'. Pretty sure it's for a 215 but I am stumped. The manifold on the left is a buick. Doesn't look like a jetfire turbo piece. Anybody know what this is?

1961 Olds F85 with 2bbl. The air cleaner extended down to that ring on the intake. Not rare - every 1961 Olds 215 with 2bbl came with one.
