Barney Eaton Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 You should be posting these questions and pictures on the Reatta discussion.....not the Reatta Buy/Sell, not everyone looks at the Buy/Sell
jscheib Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Barney, Thanks for your suggestions to him, but I am confused as to just what his question/questions are? John
91vert Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Jim was on hear a few months ago asking if anyone had replaced the top themselves but didn't get a response so I don't think anyone has tried it unless Jim went ahead and did it. Barney suggested that he would probable need a few extra hands. Cal.

Ronnie Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Welcome to the forum Johnny Red. You might find this useful: Convertible Top Installation It's not very detailed but it is a good starting point.
ol' yeller Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 This is an excellent manual for the Reatta convertible top and not too expensive either. Not my auction.
Jim Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 I have not yet installed a new top on my car. I have the car at the transmission shop right now getting the trans replaced. Thank you to Ronnie for posting a link to his site regarding top replacement and to ol' yeller for the link to the manual on Ebay. They reference "top replacement" but I will call them to see if there is specific instructions.

Jim Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 topsonline has tops with a plastic back window for about $ 300
DAVES89 Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 I have personall seen this car as I left the house at 4:15 am to drive down there to pull parts thinking it was a 1989. It is a 1990. The inner door panels are in great shape and the front seats are 6 way and in great shape. If you want great seats for a good price make arrangements to get them. The side windows are gone so they will not look good for long and besides they turn their inventory every 45 days. You can contact Johnny to see if he can help or if he will tell you what yard this Reatta is in. The cornering lamps, headlight switch, IPC, door switches, radio, Teves Master Cylindern are all gone. The fog lights are still there and they are pretty clear. But the seats are really good. Look at the pictures he posted for yourself...
Johnny red Posted May 23, 2017 Author Posted May 23, 2017 Thanks Dave I'll let u know if I find some more reattas while I'm out searching also
