Guest Oldcartech
I need help identifying my 1920 Stutz Roadster... the Chassis # is 13660-4DH the Motor # is D13642H. I have, I guess assumed over the years that it was just a Roadster, but now believe it to be a Speedway Roadster with detachable head. I am have a huge brain fart over the doors. The bottom of the doors are rounded and I am not sure if that is correct or not? I have looked through Splendid Stutz and am more confused then I was before. HELP PLEASE! edinmass
Problem is it's not a HCCA car, and was not a CCCA classic, but possibly now is. There is a bit of a gap on the big interesting "in between years" of nickel cars. Try the HCCA guys, someone will be able to help.
Guest Oldcartech
My other question is...? When, or what year, did the rounded bottom of the door change on Stutz roadsters to square ones???
Guest Oldcartech
I have to thank John Warner for sending me this web page from Hemming's. It is the same as my car but fully restored to perfection. I would read the article tp it's end if you are interested in my Stutz. Thanks Again John . https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/hcc/2007/11/Sporting-Sensation---1920-Stutz-Series-H/1538612.html
