edinmass Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Looks like a American Austin Bantom. I'm not too familiar but I would guess 1938. Even in the condition it's in someone will want it.
Curti Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 It is a 1930-1934 American Austin roadster. This one belongs to my wife.

lump Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Love those little cars. Don't they have just two main saddles for the crankshaft? And, what is a "hood screen?" Sorry...just don't know that term.

Sorry...just don't know that term. The 1930 - 1932 cars had larger horizontal louvers while the 33 - 34 had the vertical louvers as posted above. The American Austin had 2 main bearings. The later Austin Bantams had a much superior 3 main engine.
lump Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Wow, thanks guys. Love the expertise which can be found here on the AACA forums.
F&J Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Horsepower: A late old friend once told me of his 31 roadster: "you will find hills on your own road, that you never knew were there"
