What is this car?

This was my Dads car. He's now passed. I know not much is showing but it's all I have. I assume it a chevy because that's all he ever had. ☺️ Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a 1950 Chevrolet to me....

I'm going with '49 Chevrolet. Hard to tell, but I think the grille bar below the parking light is plain, not ribbed like the '50.

1949, no drip rail, 50 has drip rail/ rain gutter.
