Oldsmobile trunk trim

[1940TORPEDO]

I'm sad to say I have a 1940 Pontiac that I'm slowly gathering parts for and just realized the trunk lid appears to be off an oldsmobile. Is this off a 1941 oldsmobile and if so What all models Oldsmobile did it fit? Is the center emblem a reoccurring motif in Oldsmobiles of these  years?

... I'm not an expert but just on my bench I have that motif as you call it from 1937 thru 1947.

Thanks Ric Dean. Looks like the used that emblem for many years. 

 

Now to figure out what all body styles it fit in 1941.
