Wooden Coil Box, by National Coil, Car?

 

 

 

… Can anybody help me out here, single cly was this for Automotive use? The size is 3.25’’x 3.25’’x 6’’

It came out of an old Auto Service Garage that closed in 1936, check out the 1936 Will Rogers Calendar that was still hanging on the wall.
