Topper1961
Hi Need 1964 CORNERING LENSES. LENS MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 11 3/8" LONG. PART # ON END OF BOX IS 5955396. I don`t know if it is the same part number L/R side? Lenses need to be of good quality, NOS parts preferred. John
5955396 is for the right (passenger) side, and 5955395 is for the left (driver) side. They are the same for 1964 LeSabre, Wildcat and Electra and only used that one year. Hard to find, especially NOS!
Topper1961
Thanks for helping out John! Yes, hard to find but if you don`t try......you don`t get it. I just started to look for it and sometimes it takes days and sometimes it takes years. It would be interesting if someone has experience with reproduction of lenses with 3D printers. Not, NOS, not original but probably a acceptable solution. Would be great to get some feedback on it, or if there are other companies that restore lenses. Topper1961
Hi guys! I``m still looking for a NOS lens or one in good condition. Have received several offer, but all in bad condition. There`s two on EBay right now, but unusable for me, one extremely overpriced. Two of the once I have is better. I would appreciate any tip where to find as well or any experience with companies who car repair or restore lenses! Thanks Edited January 17, 2018 by Topper1961 adding text (see edit history)
