Hi to all Petrolheads.

With big respect to all of you I would like to ask for help to identify this radiator from my basement.

What draw my attention is hole similar to the cars with manual starter key. All answers will be much appreciated.

Looks like is from an English car or light truck. The drain cock looks very similar to the one in my 1960 MGA , however I suspect your Radiator is early post war or perhaps even slightly pre war.

Hi Greg Thanks for reply.

Radiator is made from brass my first thought was an english tractor because of the size, but in that era all radiators has been much bigger so it might be car one...

hope someone can name it.

The core is the type made in the 1950s - 60s but the tanks look older.

Designed for a non pressurized cooling system.

There is also no bracket or fittings on the top for upper struts.

I am thinking stationary equipment or a light tractor with a cast or heavy grill

There is a rusty plaque on the top tank left side, near the inlet pipe. Can you read it?

I did try to rub gently this plaque to remove rust but no results. Is might be some sort of repair patch. Well spotted! Thx

Good point! There are some signs of welds and two thin brackets on side tank where tap is mounted.

So what kind of stationary equipment you thinking of?
