vintchry
I believe you will find this fits a 1936 Plymouth P2, I am not sure the standard Plymouth used the stainless bars. I did not look up in the parts book but it may also fit both L & R sides. Rob
marty mopar
OK thanks the # stamped on the part does not show up in the 1936-48 Master Part book
dep5
The casting number is molded into the die cast part. If a raw casting or forging gets machined or otherwise altered during the manufacturing process then it likely gets a new part number which is sometimes only 1 digit off. This is a 1936 era part. I looked in three 1929-39 Master Parts Books Dodge, Plymouth & Chrysler parts books and did not find the number, nor was it found in four different Chrysler parts supersedence books. After looking at other 1936 MoPar automobiles I concur with Rob, 1936 Plymouth model P2 (Deluxe).
marty14
I have 39,000 Mopar part numbers in stock so all too familiar with casting #s versus the part # in the books....anyway that's why I posted a pic of this. Got it in a Mopar dealership maybe 30 years ago.
