lump
Hello. My parents had this hubcap on display way back in the 60's. I thought it was long gone, but just stumbled on to it at the bottom of a box of clutter. What year and make is this for, please? Thanks in advance for your help. lump
By the way, I have sometimes looked at this cap and thought I see a "B," instead of an "8." What do YOU see?
Grimy
I may be completely wrong, but to me it looks like an aftermarket rendition of a Studebaker "S" as used ca. 1929-31. Actually, perhaps earlier since it's a screw-on. Edited March 10, 2017 by Grimy added afterthought :-) (see edit history)
keiser31
I agree with Grimy....aftermarket Studebaker made to look like this factory item at a glance.... Edited March 10, 2017 by keiser31 (see edit history)
aacalifeer
LUMP, I have collected screw on hubcaps for nearly 50 years. This certainly looks like an aftermarket Studebaker cap. Some can be very interesting. If your selling screw on caps I'd love to take a look.
