1954 Cadillac front fog/park/signal lights not working

HI 

 

I need some help with my 54 Cadillac. my front lights aren't working but all of the other lights on the car are working. the signals work fine in the rear but for some reason the front won't work. i have everything connected properly to my knowledge, the lights did start to work when they would come in contact with the grille, but now only one works.

You need to fix the ground connection - either remove the lights and thoroughly clean the contact areas or try inserting a small piece of metal between the light and the side of the mounting hole.

 

Back in the day the most common quick fix was to either drive a sheet metal screw into the surround.or use a separate wire from the mounting post to ground.
