MochetVelo Posted March 8, 2017 Share Posted March 8, 2017 Superb film of the Citroen factory in the 1930s. They're making the famous Traction Avant which were produced from 1934 to 1957. I think this was the first mass-produced front wheel drive car. Note that it uses uni-body construction as well as 4-wheel independent suspension. Citroen bought the body stamping technology from then Budd Company of Philadelphia. Note also the heavy use of aluminum. It's in French, but no translation needed.
