Ric Dean
… Chrysler Corp Part. 1930s? This looks to be a Floor Seal? I need an ID on this. I’m including 3 photographs the back one has detail of the original embossing. Top line states Chrysler Corp. part no. 719247. Thank you, Ric Edited February 22, 2017 by Ric Dean mistake (see edit history)
keiser31
Seems to me one of those came in one of my 1931 DBs and was around the starter pedal.
Ric Dean
I figured it was from the 1930s, it came from that Auto Service Garage that closed in 1936, Is it anything you can use?
keiser31
It might be in better shape than the one I have. I could probably use it.
ply33
Looks very similar to the seal that goes around the hand brake lever on my '33 Plymouth. Something like http://www.steelerubber.com/handbrake-floorplate-40-0110-
36 D2 Coupe
My parts book says 719247 - 1936 Chrysler C7 Sedans Hand Brake Lever Hole Pad. Looks like it could work on '36 Dodge and De Soto - part numbers for them are - Sedans -719248; Coupes - 719249
keiser31
I guess it isn't what I thought it was. I apparently have it confused with the 1936 DB I had. Edited February 25, 2017 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Hudsy Wudsy
Mid thirties hand brake lever floor seal. Some came in black some in tan, I think.
JACK M
I remember seeing this part last week, However I cant seem to open photos any more. I have seen at least one other user comment on this as well so I am hoping that this new system simply has a bug in it yet. I also hope that the powers to be will read this and take pity on me and fix it.
