Pete in PA
Those Darts are neat little cars. When I was a kid a neighbor had a 66 GT that was white over red with the 225/six and an auto trans. The car was always garaged and the interior was nearly pristine but PA road salt took a toll on the body. I rode in it many times and kept telling them I thought it was a really cool car. One day an early 80s Olds Cutlass Ciera showed up in their driveway and I wandered over to check it out. They had traded the Dart on the new Olds and told me that they got so little for it that they would have given it to me if they had known I wanted it. Doh! I was pretty bummed out, wondering what had happened to that white GT.
30DodgePanel
Please share pics... I used to own a Dart years ago that I purchased for less than $100 and have fond memories. Here's a GT ragtop I found in a local yard. Sure wish someone would save it before it's to late: Edited January 8, 2017 by 30DodgePanel (see edit history)

JACK M
In January of 68 I bought a 67 for my mother. It was a coupe with a slant/auto, buckets, floor shift. Yellow with a black vinyl top. A handsome car. She drove it for 300 thousand miles, I did have to put a transmission in it once. One day her radiator failed on the Mercer Island floating bridge in Seattle. I put a new radiator in it and she refused to drive that car again. She got a K car, 1986 I think, another story. I sold the 67 for the same money that I paid for it and got a VW bus from the buyer for my troubles. For some reason $2700 sticks in my mind but that may be wrong.
