SD Franklin Service Statio Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Can you put a 135 (left hand) handbrake in a 1929 130? The 130 had the handbrake on the other side of the transmission. mikewest Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Mike , It shouldn't be a problem. Do you have the assembly ? You will need the link that goes between the handle and the arm on the trans. Let me know if you need parts. They aren't hard to come by. PS You are going to need the correct bell housing that came with the Detroit and you will need to have the drive shaft shortened.
