NTX5467
I noticed an article at www.allpar.com about changing the TC brake booster to one for a LeBaron. Might lose the ABS in the process (from the article's title)? Check it out, if you desire. NTX5467

The brakes work exactly like an ordinary brake system.
Guest Greg H
Hay, Hemi Dude little help needed and would be most appreciated 1989 TC 2.2 sohc La Baron booster and master cylinder, I just did this conversion and the breaks are very week, I have 18" vaccume @Idle and it drops to 7 with breaks applied, It feels as Though we are getting no power from the booster, Breaks are blead well and if I step hard enough they will somewhat lock down. any ideas would be helpful
Reaper1
Which brake system did you install? The regular 10.25" or the 11"? The size of the master cylinder is different between the 2. Then again, with the vacuum dropping like that, I wonder if the booster is bad?

Frankly, I didn't measure the booster, I just installed it. You can see what it looks like from the pictures posted at Allpar.com but click on my links that show up BELOW my message here. If the vacuum drops so drastically, I would have to suspect a booster failure. Edited July 12, 2017 by Hemi Dude (see edit history)
