1928 Hupmobile Century Eight Kellner Town Car

I came upon this while researching a 1928 Hupmobile Century. I've never seen these photos, and was not aware that Kellner built a town car body on a Hupmobile. This same body style has appeared on Renault and Packard. Here is the link to the interesting story:

A little further searching, and I see that the same body design was used on Duesenberg and Hispano Suiza. Here are photos of the Packard and a couple of Renaults with the body style:

AK Miller owned a Hisso in the late 1940s like the one pictured above.   It may have been that car.

Where does Studebaker enter into the topic?  It's stated in the title of this thread, but no Studebakers bodied by Kellner are shown or mentioned in it.

The name given that pseudo phaeton was Scaphandier, if I recall correctly.
