Wow!  You drove this 1959 car DAILY until 2011?

That's impressive!


I assume the car must have sat outside afterward to develop the rust holes in the floor.

Or were you driving it every day in that condition?

It is NOT an Ambassador. Look at the lack of Ambassador side trim. Look at the engine. Ambassadors only came with V-8 engines in 1959 and 1958. This car has a six-cylinder engine. It is a 1959 Rambler Super.  Good luck getting $2800 for a non-running 4-dr. If you fixed the starter and got it running you'd have a better chance.

my nephew and i have been doing our research on the rambler. according to all we have found on the numbers and the tags this is a 1958,i will get the title in hand and see what it has to say also,i believe my brother was mistaken in its year. thanks for all your input!
