NC-car-guy
Now that you got some 6 way, you could sell your 4 way and get a lil money back. If that 54 has a 3spd column that would be nice to pull. Along with the intake and carb off that 322! Any 56 century or bigger? Dual exhaust manifolds are nice! A few years ago I woul have been loading my tool box and trailer and asking you how long is your couch. These days, after having to practically give a six bolt top away, I'll just stay home on my own couch. I guess folks these days are too damn lazy to shift gears. I hope you're considering grabbing that stuff Greg.

Why didn't you say you needed a u-joint? Locals ask if I have a joint to spare all the time! Oh that kinda joint! All seriosness aside, I have whatever u-joint your lookin for. Six bolt fine or coarse stick. I don't know if big and small different, but parts book should say. Lemme know.

I hope you're considering grabbing that stuff Greg. Grabbing is pretty much done, unless a request is voiced. The 54 column and pedals split between a rich farmer in SW MN with a 54 Cent 2 dr Ht converted to stick and Greg's storage bldg! Power seats need to be correct width, narrower for small(40-60series) and wider for 50-70 series. 6 way does not lend itself to cutting down to fit small body cars. Starting to see 1956 GM primarily single tube with progressively smaller tubes inside, sleeved, if you will and the 57&58 both designed with three separate tubes lying side by side. Fitting the wider frame to the narrower body in this case takes more rengineering than I'm willing to devote to having a 6 way seat! I didn't, however, want the sixways to be lost to rust or crushing said Don Kihotey, or whoever that guy was, tilting at windmills? Some are cultured, I'm more sub-cultured, thank you!
