cjp69
I don't think it has Gran Sport emblems? Says it had a "spectacular restoration", which I guess means they painted it and left everything else as is? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5908647341.html
RivNut
Did they do anything to this car besides wash it before posting pictures? SO MANY little details that take some time and little money to make something like this worth the asking price.
Rivdrivn
It has a couple of non-original items under the hood that I can't quite figure out. A tank of some kind on the drivers side and a line or cable on the other side in front.
KongaMan
It appears that the seller and I have different interpretations of the word "spectacular".
PWB
Another FINE job! Wait a minute - lets put some stinkin' GS badges on it, perhaps fetch another 5G! LOL
63 Red Riv
For that price, windshield wipers would be nice.

Looks as if someone added an overflow tank for the radiator and when I enlarge the picture, it appears as if a zip tie is being used to support one of the hoses coming off the a/c condenser. bodayguy
That obviously is a crazy listing! Ick. I must say, though, don't knock MAACO too bad. I had a local shop paint my Jeep (recommended by a great vintage paint shop when I didn't want to spend $7K+). If you do the proper prep work to set them up, and pay for their best plan, it's a decent job for less than $2K, and a lot of cars don't warrant spending crazy paint money on because you would never see it back. Just my opinion. I could get three MAACO paint jobs for what the vintage shop wanted to charge, and that's an option to always think about. EDIT: But I would NEVER have them paint my Riviera, haha. Paul K.
I don't think it's an original Black Plate CA car. A 65 plate should have a prefix beginning with a P, Q or R.

lrlforfun
OK Riviera People: If this were a good running car 16K would certainly kill 2 things. The car would sell and there wouldn't be any drama about the car. Mitch
