Nice car Steve.

If it doesn't sell here I hope you have better luck with the Auctions than I did. Paid some insertion fees but the bids only came to about 75% of what I felt was reasonable.

About half of what you are asking but cant compare apples to oranges.

Might just be the wrong season for selling nice cars.

Thanks Jack.  This is the one to buy if you want something original.  The original interior is in excellent condition.

That interior is sure a unique aspect of the car.  In 1983 I was in the market for a new Camaro Z-28.  One of the optional interiors had the word Camaro on the seat cover repeated over and over from top to bottom.  A little to bold for my taste.  I could live with the interior on this car!

Hello,

From looking at what is shown of the gearshift indicator; can't see the full indicator, the right end is blocked in all the pics. The looks to be a Turbo-Glide transmission, I think I can see the top of the G in one pic.  There again I can't see the whole indicator.

I owned several 57- 58 Chevy's, and none had the Turbo-Glide transmission.   I am only asking your driving impression; if this does still have the Turbo-Glide.

With the torque of the 348, it should be a nice road car.  Smooth and constant ability to accelerate.

How does it do on hills?

In 1957 my father had a transmission shop, and the 1957's were quite a problem; but that was fixed later with updates.

We live in the mountains; and I always wondered if the constant up and down the hills; attributed to their woes.

Nice car, had a 58 Tri-Power same color; but mine was far from nice.
