Plastic end cap for stainless trim around convertible top well

I noticed that my 89 TC is missing the black plastic end cap that appears to slip into the drivers side rear stainless trim that goes around the convertible top well. I've attached photo's of the passenger side showing the trim piece in place and a photo of the driver's side showing it missing.

 

Does anyone have one for sale or a part number for the missing piece? I haven't taken anything apart yet so even a picture of one would be useful.

We need someone with a 3D printer to make a batch.  Maybe make them to insert deeper in the trim.

Bill, is this a common occurrence where these come loose and fall out?

The loss of these end caps is common.  Should you find a TC in the junkyard get all of them.  Bill, Good idea on making the area that goes into the stainless steel longer but I don't have a 3D printer.  If somebody out there has a 3D printer I wish they would speak up.

here are ALL the black plugs or caps on the exterior moldings on the TCs:

 

these are the ones in your picture...they go into the large u-shaped molding

I use a bit of 3M trim adhesive to reinstall these to try and help prevent them from coming out.
