Guest chalksmarinales
We have a 1950's Towmotor, wth a flat head 4 cyl. engine, identifying numbers are f140-413 B150, it has a Prestolite distributor with a bad gear.Additionally there is a horizontal shaft that goes into the engine block with a bad gera. Any leads on where to find these old parts?
misterc9
Post some pictures . Someone will recognize it. A lot of fork trucks used common industrial engines like Continental and Hercules etc.
Rusty_OToole
If Ford even made a flathead 4 in the 50s it would be a tractor. Maybe the Ford guys will know.
Bleach
I don't think it's a Ford engine. Towmotors usually used Continental engines and the F140 was a Continental.
