Guest fredsmythson
I'm working on a 1989 TC... When the car sits for a few days, the battery goes dead. Also, sometimes when I'm driving the car, the engine will just shut off. In order for the car to start again, I have to wait 5-10 minutes and it will again start/run normally. Any know issues with the TC regarding a draining battery and random engine shut offs? Thanks...
jonlabree
You have something draining you battery when it si shut down. Remove the neg cable and put a volt meter between the terminals and see what it reads. It should not be more than .020 volts. The other problem sound like a heat caused shut down. Check your coils and your ICM.
