See attachment. This is a push/pull 2wo terminal on/off sw. The Packard bezel fits perfectly but the stem is a bit short for the Packard knob. It comes with an ivory plastic screw on knob. I'm guessing that a .22 cal gun claning rod will screw onto to it to extend the stem enuf for the Packard knob.

The pic is blurry but thats the best i could do with my limited camera. The stem is threaded at the end for the Niehoff knob. P/N is evident in pic. Despite the blurry photo i think everyone gets the idea.

Here's a website with SEM spray vinyl dyes:

Pretty good color selection.

I called tech support about this and they said that 2 bucket seats takes about 3 cans or large dash takes 1 can and Said color change was very good, Could have brown seats and change them to white with 2 to 3 coats.

This is a reply to the Brake Shoe application for 12"X2" "On the R-33's Yes they will work but the ones I got from Azone the shoe metal was just a bit thicker and had to file a few things like the adjusters to fit the shoe. Maybe a 1/16."

Lifter number A879 are the correct ones for Packard V8s. I just spoke with a manufacturing engineer and he said, and I quote "If A812 or A937 or A976 would work as well, there would only be one part number. They are DIFFERENT parts, which is why we have to make and stock them as different numbers.

Brian, the box is plastered with the :BEST GASKETS" logo but no country of origin is printed anywhere. For some reason I think the factory is in Bell Gardens, Calif with a mailing address in Whittier. I don't remember why I think this - it just sticks in my mind.

The sparkplug website I looked at says the # 56 is obsolete and replaced by #66. They also had #65, but they appear to be identical to #66, in every way they list. So I would go with # 66, which appears to be more available.

From an Old parts manual at my autoparts store. Referenced as 55-56 Packard parts.

Sectioned in the manual as Delco equipped or Autolite Equipped ignition parts. I have an autolite equipped

Clipper model 5662, so those are the parts I've verified.

AUTOLITE Equipped Models:

Points: ABE A95

Condenser: ABE G136

Cap: ABE C141

Rotor: ABE D104

Coil: E30

DELCO Equipped:

Points: ABE A72

Condenser: ABE G102A

Cap: ABE C145

Rotor: ABE D129

Another set of parts I bought were the engine belts:

Generator: Gates XL 7565 (11A1435) 3/8" x 57-1/8"

Power Steering: Gates XL 7417 (11A1055) 13/32" x 42-1/8"

Made my own Spark plug wires with wire by a company named "Packard" <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The following number is listed for the front wheel grease seals in this thread.

National #5975

This National part number has become obsolete or so I'm being told by my local suppliers.

I have located a Napa replacement part: NOS17145

Is anyone aware of additional part suppliers and part numbers?

Front Wheel Grease Seals:

1951-56 Packard except below:

Victor - N/R

Chicago Rawhide - N/R

National #5975
