Hmmmmm 🤔 My interaction with the seller: "Paint code D Saffire Blue The car is in Omaha and I'm in Phoenix trying to help my mentally challenged brother sell his assets. He purchased it new in 67 and it was appraised by a professional last year for 35,5 and he remarked that in his 30 years of appraising cars he has never seen a more pristine Buick Riv. GS than this one. I don't have any more pics at this time but the car has never been altered or damaged. It's the real deal."
JZRIV 1,309 Posted November 19 Based on the latest addition seller indicating NADA is $37k plus it probably won't hit reserve. If the car was up to date running and driving with all mechanical systems gone through that would help. but still considering the TERRIBLE low resolution pictures at current $27k its doing well. Even with photo editing I can not see the Riviera hood script. Much like the hood insulation band if its there and the resolution is so bad you can't see it what else can't be seen? would have to look at this one in person if serious.

The color is Olive Beige but the lighting makes it look like gold.

JZRIV 1,309 Posted December 3 Not anywhere close to $3400 but hey I guess he can try. A guy was selling a really nice used set here locally on CL for over 3 years asking only $125. Sure they are fairly uncommon but that is not proportional to desirability/demand/value.

I agree with you on the value. Some people just throw a price out there to see what they can get. I don't suppose that local set is still for sale yet? I find it interesting the box these NOS caps are advertised as coming in are listed for wire wheel covers for 66-67 … 66-67 490 - WIRE WHEEL-15IN-RIVIERA TYPE/SUP 980789/ I was going to "Make Offer" of $900, just for the hell of it, and it came back with this message ... "Increase your offer The seller will be more likely to respond if your offer is around $2,550.00" Oh well, I was going to give it a shot, but maybe not.

RivNut 2,948 Posted Monday at 09:10 PM Agreed, but it seems that the guys who list these cars always consider that the bucket seats with console is an option, and in '65 that the tilt wheel is an option. Really nice car (if you're into bright reds 😎)
Black River 132 Posted Monday at 09:29 PM (edited) Time for me to get a '60 Cadillac, my car is for sale, same deal for you guys....$17,500 no dicker price. Read the thread for all info, and there's a link to it idling as well toward the end. Car will be going to Mecum if not sold to a Riviera enthusiast, their friends, or family. http://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/my-1963-riviera-black-river.348243/ Edited Monday at 09:53 PM by Black River (see edit history)
