Interesting low miles 69 GS.

From the pictures, it looks like excellent condition.

This guy just bought one of my truck mat kits for this car. He told me the other day he was listing it on Ebay.

Chrome Guidematic sensor? Should that be body color? 4 notes!

Tom Mooney

My 69 showroom binders do not list a guidematic for the 69.  I've seen some Mark III's and Imperials with them mounted outside the car. They were not chrome and were the same color as the body but not sure about this one.  If you look close you will see that the mounting gasket on this one is contoured fit to the fender so the unit sits level.  That is a nice touch.  There is no shot of the dash that shows the switch and the sensitivity adjustment.  I would like to see that.  This car was on ebay once before, maybe a year or two ago.  Nice looking car.

1971 Buick Riviera GS Boat Tail

fuel: gas
odometer: 95000
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

I have a one owner Buick Riviera GS with numbers matching HP 455 Buick Engine..

It is a boat tail and was only made from 1971 - 1973

But to the performance buff, the most appealing option was the GS, or Gran Sport package. Consisting of a high-performance engine, specially calibrated Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, 3.42:1 positive traction differential, heavy-duty suspension, and H78-15-bias-belted white sidewall tires, it was a bargain at $200.

Modifications to the GS engine included larger valves, and a high-lift camshaft with three degrees more duration on intake, resulting in a horsepower
increase from 315 to 330.

Car is a Southwest car so rust out is absent. Car has been stored for almost 20 years.

Full documentation including original dog tag provided by GM to the original owner. Have all service records to the day it was parked.

Power everything, center console shift, leather and AC.

Everything is there for a restoration. Two extra factory rims and more.

Email for details and pictures/video of car running and moving.

Please only reach out if your serious and are ready for a great deal!

No engine compartment pics but it appears to be Aqua Mist or something close with buckets/console and blue interior. There is also a "Disc Brake" brake pad.

Manual windows are a bit of a bummer. I also like the accessory chrome panels on the lower fenders and doors!

Crap, there's even a passenger side mirror!

Looks like it has the rear seat shoulder belts.  These were offered in 1969 and are very rare but I didn't realize you could get them in 1968?  Can anyone confirm?

I'd think so Pat. They were available in 67. Pics from Chimera's dream car! :P

According to the "Options Not Included" 1968 Interiors article on the ROA website: "The rarest color interior was blue at 1,343 (just 2.7% and available only as Custom interior buckets)".

I would say this car appears to be one of those in this category! I so wish I could see if this is a bondo queen or not! (not that my wife would let me get a mate for the AZ!)

DROOL :P

Hmmm, I was just about to say "pretty car, but maybe a little too much blue with that interior..."  Perhaps my reaction explains the low production number.  (On the other hand, Plum-on-Plum = "yum"!)  ;)

Pat,

They were available in 1968.  Darwin Falk mentions it in his ROA series.   I have confirmed this by having seen a 68 so equipped.

$24,500

Solid for a 69. Really clean example however.
