I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with him. Has been an ROA member since it started, in 1984. He is very easy going guy, in his 70's, and it is not a bad looking car either...

Yeah, Paul posted the 69 on this forum. I met him in person in Fresno to go check out a silver 67 he was selling at the time. Great car...honest guy. Old school Riviera-Nut...in a good way.

It never ceases to amaze me how lazy some people are.  If the seller spent one day cleaning-up that '66 and rolled it outside for decent pictures he could easily ask $5 to $6K and the car would sell a lot faster...   <_<

Yeah, I reckon if I had 14 kids and wanted to sell some, I would give em a bath too! They bring good money on EBay  sometimes! ?

This gentleman is a long time ROA member.  He advertises in the Riview and runs this CL ad locally.  I've bought stuff from him before.  He honest and prices his stuff fairly.  If your missing something or just want something to add to your car, contact him.  Be sure to look at each picture closely (I've only copied and pasted 3 of the 10 in his ad) and you may see those elusive pieces that you've been looking for.  Steve's phone number is in the yellow reply box in the upper left corner of the ad.

1964 Riviera wheel covers.

Probably not what you're looking for  BUT  if you're trying to add or clean up a set of the cast aluminum wheel covers for a 1964 and yours are typical and have beat up plastic centers in the spinner, here's your salvation.  The centers in these wheel covers are the same part number as the centers in your knock-offs.

For Sale: 1965 Riviera. The car is a GS but the LX 425 and dual quads are long gone. I believe the transmission and rear end are original. It has a 1965 LT (401) engine currently. 53000 actual miles. Clear PA title in my name. The interior is mostly there but in poor condition. Body is fairly solid with no significant or structural rust other than the front of the hood. It ran when I parked it 5 years or so ago and the clamshells worked. I have owned it since 2005, but have not personally seen the car in a few years. The car is at a friend's shop in Freedom, PA just outside of Pittsburgh. I am near Altoona.

Did anyone here happen to contact the seller of this car? The listing was up through early January

"...real thing...  If this guy has a true MZ code engine and pitched the original carbs he's crazy.  What's the deal with ... original quadrajetS....  Perhaps, but hopefully he meant Quadrajet as in only one.

This hasn't been up for a long time but I'm curious as to how many of you have ever seen one of the Offenhauser dual quad 'Quadrajet ' manifolds.  With the right cabs that could be 1700+ cfm's.

Yeah, I assumed the guy didn't know the difference between a spreadbore and squarebore carb.  I'm also suspicious about the pedigree of this 'GS', but there's now way to tell without going to see it in person.  <_<

...and what happened to the power steering reservoir cap?

RUNS AND DRIVES FOR TESTING THIS IS A CALIFORNIA CAR NO RUST ,IT NEEDS A TOTAL RESTORATION
THIS IS THE TURBO ENGINE
.INTERIOR IS SHOT

GREAT PARTS CAR

****************************************************************************************************************************************************

Tempting, tempting.   I would like to investigate but likely this seller just wants the car gone, as I so often see.  But - how about a silver car, no vinyl top, leather buckets, turbo.

T-type.  The turbo, transaxle (performance ratio), steering wheel, and wheels are probably close to the asking price.

Solid '68 not mine.

I bought my steel wheels from this gent then sold my original chrome mags.

Real nice guy and car. Don't know why he's selling. I just recognized his car and house on ebay.

Is it me or are the heater core feeds blocked off and the engine water lines feed back on themselves between the engines front and rear water ports? So this non-AC car also has no cabin heating capabilities? Not cool (pardon the pun).
