PWB
Kick the can Still has the mystery toggle switch. Nothin else was changed, either. I fail to see the “power locks” or “power seat” switches. Hope it does well. Edited July 19, 2019 by PWB (see edit history)
RivNut
I emailed Hemmings about the "misleading" info on the power locks and power seat. I'll let you know when, or if, I hear back from them.

RivNut
Keep in mind that if you purchase a convertiblevthat most of the interior parts are different than those of a coupe. Lots of vinyl where the coupe used velour. The back seat and rear arm rests were custom made for the convertibles; again, no interchange with the coupe. There's a really good site on the web that shows how a new coupe was shipped to ASC where a sawzall was taken to the roof and the conversion was begun. Great cars, especially for this price if it's all good, but keep in mind there are no parts cars from which to salvage parts. The only thing worse is the '83 Twentieth Anniversary XX edition. Fewer made and even more unique parts.

It looks like another “dealership/prep person” couldn’t follow instructions … Instead of “removing” the Riviera emblem and putting the Silver Arrow emblem in the correct location, on the quarter panel, they just “added” it to the door. I have seen a couple others not installed correctly. With mine they put the numbered badge on the “dash panel” instead of on the “knee bolster” as per the instructions.

Pat Curran
I guess they are embarrassed to say it’s a Riviera as all the scripts have been removed from the exterior.
