Rivieras and Riviera parts for sale on local Craigslist, eBay, etc.

Keep in mind that if you purchase a convertiblevthat most of the interior parts are different than those of a coupe.  Lots of vinyl where the coupe used velour.  The back seat and rear arm rests were custom made for the convertibles; again, no interchange with the coupe.  There's a really good site on the web that shows how a new coupe was shipped to ASC where a sawzall was taken to the roof and the conversion was begun.  Great cars, especially for this price if it's all good, but keep in mind there are no parts cars from which to salvage parts.  The only thing worse is the '83 Twentieth Anniversary XX edition. Fewer made and even more unique parts.

I got to surfing around.  Silver Arrow #003 is for sale on Autotrader.com. $7,995.

It looks like another “dealership/prep person” couldn’t follow instructions …

Instead of “removing” the Riviera emblem and putting the Silver Arrow emblem in the correct location, on the quarter panel, they just “added” it to the door.

I have seen a couple others not installed correctly. With mine they put the numbered badge on the “dash panel” instead of on the “knee bolster” as per the instructions.

Wow.  I guess that I should have held on to mine. Mine had a new top, new interior, and T-Type wheels.  Sold it for about a third of this asking price.  LOTS of soft top Rivieras out there in the $4K to $6K range.

Mike, Nice find on these, but this auction is in Greensboro, NC not Raleigh, NC, correct?

What's the 'Factory WS6 PHS Documented'?  Buehler? Buehler? Anyone? Anyone?

The black “Gran Sport,” not “Grand Sport,” as they have it advertised, just went for $46,500.

The ’83 convertible went for $7,000 earlier today.

Apparently wood steering wheels do not have to have a horn bar in them for the car to bring a good price. :D

I just noticed the gold "Frame Off Nut & Bolt Restoration" Gran Sport sold for $72,000, and the ’64 went for $7,000.

What's a "survivor" Riviera from a northern state (with paint that shows it) worth?

Just noticed that the tires don't match …

No usable contact information. Located in Santa Rosa, CA.

It does look pretty good, and a nice looking color combo.

Use the "reply" through CL? That seems hit or miss but might work.

A long way to get it home though, that would be one drawback?

Hah! Worked on the smartphone, but not on the computer. Thank you.

Agreed that it is a long way home—2,870 miles. On the other hand, I drove the 1985 almost that exact route in 2014.
