Up in the body of the ad, I've indicated in red all of the features that are listed by folks who are not aware of the standard items on a Riviera that were usually options on lesser cars.  You can usually tell when someone is selling a car they're not really familiar with. ?

Do you mean the trip reset knob beside the vent lever above?

Yes, I thought I've seen that before but always scratched my head over it.

Strange location. Are these standard equipment for '65?

I'd love to have a green '65 one day. I'm tempted to run to the bank - gotta stop myself.

This rear bumper seems a bit tweaked.

Thanks Rivman!

Hi,

My name is Daniel. I'm from Switzerland. I'm new in this forum. Unfortunately, I don't own a Buick. I hope one time I will own a 1965 Riviera. I like the style and all the technical details. It's a dream....We will see....

I saw this and it could be interesting for the forum:

Greetings from Switzerland

Daniel

Good catch. A 59G bid battle was no joke.

Appears like an apartment complex where the cellphone quality images were taken.

Something stinks...😷

The Ebay seller has NO feedback as a seller but plenty as a buyer. His account shows he sold a restored '34 Chevrolet on Nov 14th for $18,800.

Looks like a 63 with a 64 variation for the instrument bezel.

I have a copy of the data plate. It's a J code "Willow Mist" paint car. Looks like 787 on trim code, black. Been for sale for a while, was on Ebay a couple of times.

OK guys, this appears to be a legit deal.

Austin Texas bone dry / Metallic Taupe - Gorgeous IMO

All the typical wear areas appear pristine: Door panels, Steering wheel, brake pedal, wiper switch, spare tire kit, chrome, etc.

If I wasn't out of country I'd be all over this sleeper! Someone snag this diamond in the rough, please.

No LX engine. No Gran Sport badges, No doubt it's not a Gran Sport.

Looks more like:

1965 Riviera

1966 engine

add on dual four barrels.

? Super Wildcat air cleaner

? BS coded transmission

? Positrac rear end

Makes you have pity for the unsuspecting buyer.

OK Riviera People: If someone could get this  for cheep....I'm guessin' 5-6 Grand they could nibble on it and have a decent looking car with out being buried. Blow it apart and media blast this thing and the cash register is gonna ring off the hook.   Another overpriced heap in a sea of overpriced heaps. If the seller needed the dough it would have been gone a year and a half ago.  Mitch
