I'll bet the "1968 Buick Riveria" would get more attention if he spelled Riviera correctly. I would think most people looking for a specific car would enter the model.  I couldn't find it in a "Riviera" search. cjp69 must have been searching for Buick.

I did once get a pretty good deal on some marine exhaust manifolds for a Merc 7.4 on ebay I because of a spelling mistake and no reserve.

Don't give away that information, it's a trade secret.  I find all sorts of stuff on Craigslist and eBay just by typing in misspellings.  Take advantage of their mistakes.  Chances are if they don't know how to spell correctly, they don't know much about the car and you can get a good deal.

Does anyone need a very good condition 1968 Riviera standard hubcap center medallion? Just the medallion, not the whole hubcap. Part number 1383005. I just picked up a really nice driver quality one. It has no cracks or chips in the plastic bit there is some slight flaking of the chrome on some of the ribs. The R logo is perfect. The exterior surface shows minimal effects of 50 years of service.

$55.00 plus free shipping. PM me if interested.

Dude its mint! I mean its literally mint green hehe. Well the seller says it all: "Every boat-tail Riviera we have ever had has barely been with us more than a few days because of the popularity of these cars."

So get it while you can!

It is a really striking color combination, but I agree that the price is more than a little overheated.

Hagerty thinks all the money for a non-GS 1973 in #1/Concours condition is $37,800, with #2/Excellent being $25,600 and #3/Good being $16,600. The highest comp they have recorded is $24,200. They do have values steadily trending up since 2016.

1965 Buick Riviera. The pinnacle of automotive design for the 1960's. The car is Silver Cloud Metallic and the paint shows very well. The interior is black vinyl and has all been restored. The car drives very well and can be driven with confidence.
This Riviera retains its original 401 nailhead engine and transmission. The power steering pump has been rebuilt along with the original 4 barrel carburetor.

One of the cleanest, most well optioned Riviera GS Boattail coupes in the country.
455 CID V8. Has all of the options you would expect, including power windows and door locks, tilt wheel, speed alert.
Ivory leather interior with bucket seats, console with floor mounted shift. Clean with no rips, tears or excessive wear.
Minor modifications include smaller diameter steering wheel and JVC radio with CD changer. Original steering wheel (with plenty of pebble grain left) and correct OE radio instrument panel surround are included.

This looks like a really nice 64. I think it's at $16,000 now. Curious what the get-it-done price would be. Ebay seems to rarely meet reserve, especially on a dealer car like this.

Yep. Been climbing all day—there's definitely interest.

Do folks think that 23,000 miles is real?

I am selling my 1971 boat tail Buick Riviera that runs and drives great and is in really good condition. It could use paint to be perfect, but is a great driver as it is. Recently the windshield was replaced, AC was rebuilt, water pump replaced, Power Steering pump and gear box replaced. The Odometer reads 89,000, but It can't be correct since Speedometer wasn't working when I bought it. It read 84,XXX in 2007 when I bought it.
Thanks for looking

This was originally an Arizona car which I brought back to Wisconsin. Floors and frame are in good condition with no rust or structural issues. Purchased the car to fix up as a project. It is mechanically sound at this point, just needs interior and paint work to complete the car. I also have a parts car and parts available with the sale.

Engine:
Rebuilt and upgraded
425 cu in dual 4 barrel carburetors
A.C. converted to R134a and does work
Aluminum fin valve covers

Brakes:
All brakes have been serviced and are in good working order
Power brake booster

Transmission:
Turbo 400 switch pitch
shifts great

Options:
Power windows
Power antenna
Deluxe interior
Rocker panel trim
Tilt wheel

Headlights:
clam shells are in functioning order
electric actuating motor does work
linkage is not attached but will be included

This one will be interesting to watch seeing as how it appears that there's no reserve on the selling price.

The listing is also a word for word duplicate of the BaT listing. I think I smell fish.

The recent Riview article about internet/Ebay vehicle buying should be looming large in the back of the mind right now. My two cents worth...

No reserve either which makes no sense after selling for $44K on BaT.
