RivNut
When I had the vinyl top replaced on my 1970 Skylark some 20 years ago, we could not find the correct vinyl locally so I got as close as I could. At the time, I didn't think about contacting SMS about a vinyl top. Only eyes as sharp as Jason's can pick this out from the posted pictures. It's amazing what you notice about a car if it's like one you've owned and become familiar with. I did however get three correct vinyls for seat repair - bolsters, inserts, and back of the front seats from SMS. Another one of those head scratchers. Why in the world did I ever sell that car? Probably because it was just a 2bbl 350. But besides the new top and restored seats, I put new carpet in it and had it painted. Still, no real reason to sell it.

Im a sucker for triple green personally, so Im a fan, but the wrong grain!? I can't even find good pictures of the vinyl top. You got those eagle eyes to spot Riviera details! He described it as "Forest Green." Its obviously dark and some mistake it for black.
RivNut
I think that the proper grain for a 70s era vinyl top is the Levant grain. I'm curious as to why the grains in these samples look different but they're all called Levant?

The separation line was on the fender crease, not on the ridge as in this picture. Two-toning on the shadow lines was a trick Bill Mitchell used on Silver Arrow 1. RivNut
Not a car but for sale on FB marketplace in West Drs Moines, IA. I can't copy and pace links on this device, but I can copy and paste pictures. Wher appears to be a correct Carter AFB and intake for a 63 Riviera. Intake is silver has the port in front of the carburetor for the a/c and brake booster. Seller says it was running fine, he just swapped for a dual 4 setup. I can't make it out, but the tag is still affixed to it.
