Mark Huston
1929 Studebaker President sales publications state that the interior finishes are “German Silver”. It is my understanding that German Silver is a fancy terminology for a Nickel finish.
Aussi John 1
Thanks Mark my understanding of german silver, it is also call nickel silver. Cars with gernan silver radiators, usally use nickel plating for the rest of the bright work, so ity sounds logical that thje door handles were nichkel plated. If it's not the same, it is certainly a good subitute. Your help once again is much appreciated. Regards John Grant
