1956 nailhead 322, block, crank, and cam

Recommended Posts

I will get some photos up shortly.  Want to know if there's any interest or should i plastic wrap and shelve them.  If anyone is seriously interested in the block I can have it magnafluxed.

The odometer in the car says 71k, the interior wear and very little to no ridge on cylinder walls leads me to believe it.  I would still sell it under the assumption that it would need to go to a machine shop.  That being said, I'd ask  $150 for what's there. Block, crank, cam, and timing set. I can put on a pallet and ship to your nearest fastenal fairly reasonably.

Was this the block that was too gore-y to show off?

Can't be too bad, reminds me of mine when I first got it to turn over in 2014.

Yes that's the one.  the block isn't too bad, I think the heads are probably shot unless someone really wants to pour money into them!

I have all the main caps too.  Block, crank, flywheel, cam, main caps.  $150 for everything plus shipping, or I will separate.

Still available......I also have a timing cover for another $15  and if you want the heads they can go with the package, but in rough shape.

Still available.  I am dropping it off at the machine shop tomorrow with a couple others to be cleaned and magnafluxed.  Then I'll wrap it up to put in storage.
