Guest
Well, a Packard for $185K or so was top proce until superseded by a Cobra thing at $200k which was then superseded by some car called a Seleeen or whatever that went for nearly 1/2 million bucks. I also saw where "specilaized" Camaros and Chevelles went for HEAVY green, but in outside appearance they are look the same. Some of the bids are just unreal! RO
One more hour of the auction, so I'm heading back to the TV to see what is left. They said 4000 cars were looked at for the auction but only about 875 met the criteria for the event.

RO
Thanks Steve. Hey, Kevin, Steve, et. al. what was that "Seleen" or something like that car made in 2000? Never heard of it until a couple nights ago and it commanded big dollars at the auction.
Guest Kevin AZ
I attended the auction on Thursday (all day). My impression was that cars were selling at prices below last year. Thursday typically doesn't have the high-dollar cars that the weekend brings, but I enjoyed the show nevertheless. You guys should see the Chrysler 'Atlantic'. A large and beautiful machine that reminded me of glorious roadsters of the true classic era. (the beauty had 21' tires)
