Thunderbird Italien: what did the museum owner sell it for unrestored?

I always liked this car even though I know it was not designed or fabricated in Italy; at least it pointed Ford in the direction of thinking Italian. I read that the Italien was bought by noted Ford collector Don Chambers in 2006. His intent was to add it to car museum he had planned after his retirement. But after Don became terminally ill, he put the Italien up for sale. The car was restored in 2007 by long time Thunderbird restorer Tom Markuska.I was wondering what Don was advertising it for--it looks pretty

rough in the pictures. I also don't know how to describe the car, can I say "concept car"  --I think it goes beyond the

custom cars Ford sponsored in the Custom Car Caravan...but don't know if you can put it in the same category as a dream car like the Lincoln Futura
