motoringicons
When was the last time you saw an all steel, stock, 1934 Ford Victoria offered for sale? This is a solid, original car. The body, fenders, running boards, hood and grill are all Henry Ford steel. I don't know if this car was ever completely disassembled. The body still retains some of its original paint in the door jambs, on the firewall, underneath and on the dashboard. The frame is super clean and most of the chassis hardware looks original and unmolested. The body is straight and solid. The fenders are nice and smooth underneath as they are on the top. The original grill is also nice. Many years back, the car was given a cosmetic paint job with a new cloth interior and re-plated chrome. While the color is certainly not correct, it has a good look to it and presents well. The cloth interior, while also not Ford-correct, has a good, period look to it. It is very clean and certainly presentable. The chrome shows well including the grill and bumpers. The stainless head lights and cowl lights are very clean and in working condition. The dashboard has a nice, original set of working gauges. The car has a later, 59AB Ford flat head motor. Recently, the car was given a thorough tune up including rebuilt carburetor, fuel pump, distributor and new water pumps. The car starts easily and idles well and hardly ever requires the use of the choke. The engine is quiet yet powerful and drives the car down the road nicely. It is a really peppy car with a tight chassis. The car has a set of rare, 17" Kelsey Hayes bent spoke wire wheels which have been recently restored and fitted with new Firestone tires and stainless hubcaps. This Ford is really a pleasure to drive and has a good, overall look to it. Ford built only about 20,000 victorias in 1934 and the survival rate today is quite low. This is a great opportunity to acquire one that can be enjoyed now and restored later. Given its rarity and condition, I think the price is extremely reasonable at 32,000.00. The car is located near Jefferson, WI. Please email directly at: motoringicons@hotmail.com or call 734-730-4274 to schedule a viewing or for more information. Thank you. Matt Harwood
Please don't let anyone cut it up! I turned away three buyers on our '34 Ford roadster, all of whom said something like, "I've always wanted to build a steel one..." Not on my watch, bro. Awesome find!
motoringicons
Matt, I agree 100 percent. I would never sell a rare car like this to a street rodder! Edited September 8, 2016 by motoringicons (see edit history)
