" Around 1900 many people said it was impossible for the human body to orient and react to control a vehicle traveling at speeds greater than 15 MPH. Others have spent over 100 years to prove them right. "

Brilliant engineer, Alec Issagonis at BMC once stated, 'It is impossible to have an engine over 2 liters in a front wheel drive car without uncontrollable torque-steer'.

Boy!  Did GM ever prove him wrong with the 1966 Toronado!!

My prediction, a light will be shined on some of the things that go on in this Hobby/industry.

It will be a continuation of 'light being shined'.  Since the proliferation of the Internet, we have seen tons of discoveries of cars thought to be 'lost', and factory information which has hardly ever been seen before, and in a lot of instances, sets the record straight!

Think power to weight is more important than engine size. Did coffin nosed Cords have a lot of torque steer ? Had a 67 Eldo that was never an issue. OTOH the GTP fits the Beach Boys song about "pushed out of shape and hard to steer", have to be really careful about power application in the lower gears.

Only real difference is I see more resto-mods using alternative fuels (primarily electric).
