Matt Harwood
I hate that question. "Will you please negotiate against yourself for my benefit?" Man up, make an offer. I bet you're surprised by how reasonable it is. Edited October 12, 2016 by Matt Harwood (see edit history)
Restorer32
The car has to go. We have a local fellow very interested but he can't come look at it until next week. Bear in mind THIS CAR REQUIRES COMPLETE RESTORATION. Every piece of wood has to be replaced and it needs some metal work but is well worth doing. . We had it running and driving when it came here 3 or so years ago. In storage since. First year for the famous ROCKET 88 engine.
Restorer32
Local fellow couldn't come up with the money. New price is $5000. There are no wood kits available for this car. We could do the wood but it is time consuming.
joe_padavano
Just a suggestion, but you aren't really doing yourself any favors with the way this thread is set up. No photos, not even a link to the other photo thread, just a cryptic reference in the first post to some other thread in some other subforum below. Not exactly marketing 101. Maybe your primary ad is on some other venue, but based on this thread, there isn't much for potential buyers to go on.
